About the school
Moi High School Kabarak is a private Christian co-educational boarding secondary school located along the Nakuru-Eldama Ravine Road in Rongai sub-county, Nakuru County, approximately 20 kilometres from Nakuru City. Founded in 1979 by the late Daniel Toroitich arap Moi, second President of Kenya, the school shares a campus with Kabarak University and Kabarak Primary School.
The school operates under explicit Christian principles and offers the 8-4-4 curriculum alongside CBE. In the 2024 KCSE, 356 candidates recorded a mean score of 9.89 with 34 A grades, 104 A-, 83 B+, and 83 B, achieving a 96% direct university entry rate. In the 2025 KCSE, the school led Rift Valley and ranked among the top nationally with a mean score of 10.599 — 82 candidates scoring A grade, 150 scoring A-, and only one candidate scoring below C+.
The school motto is "On Earth We Rise." The current Chief Principal is Mrs. Elsheba Cheruiyot.
